[Drug Name]

• Generic Name: Fufang Xueshuantong Capsules

• Pinyin: Fùfāng Xuèshuāntōng Jiāonáng

[Active Ingredients]
Notoginseng (Panax notoginseng), Astragalus (Astragalus membranaceus), Danshen (Salvia miltiorrhiza), Scrophularia (Scrophularia ningpoensis).

[Description]
Hard capsules containing grayish-yellow to grayish-brown powder with a bitter and slightly sweet taste.

[Indications]
Activates blood circulation, resolves stasis, replenishes Qi and nourishes Yin. Indicated for:

1. Retinal vein occlusion with blood stasis and Qi-Yin deficiency, presenting with:

   • Decreased vision or visual abnormalities

   • Signs of retinal hemorrhage

   • Fatigue, dry throat, dry mouth

2. Stable exertional angina pectoris with blood stasis and Qi-Yin deficiency, presenting with:

   • Chest tightness/pain

   • Palpitations, shortness of breath

   • Fatigue, irritability, dry mouth

[Specification]
0.5g per capsule

[Dosage and Administration]
Oral administration. 3 capsules each time, 3 times daily.

[Adverse Reactions]
Some patients with abnormal GPT levels prior to medication showed increased GPT during treatment. Causality remains unconfirmed.

[Contraindications]

1. Contraindicated in pregnant women

2. Contraindicated in patients allergic to any component

[Precautions]
Use with caution in patients with allergic predisposition.

  • Alleviated egg-white-induced paw edema in rats
